Tosca is a widely used testing tool designed by Tricentis, an Austrian software testing company. Tosca enables end-to-end test automation, and is fully DevOps and agile compatible. By using Tosca, regression test time is reduced to a matter of minutes. It is currently used by numerous major companies, such as Toyota, Starbucks and Deutsche Bank.
One key strength of Tosca for us is the fact that it can be used to test ERPs. For all the strengths of our Test Automation platform, Quality Fusion (QF), it cannot be used to test Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle EBS.
Over 25 expert Tosca testers are currently performing testing offshore for McKesson, Intuitive Surgical, and Nutrien.
At McKesson, we have over 70 licenses, and are using Tosca for API testing, Web testing, CRM testing, BW/BI testing, SAP ECC testing, Oracle EBS testing and AS400 application testing. Using Tosca, our team has managed to reduce the cost of and time taken for Test Execution Validation by 30%, as well as increasing software quality by 25%.
